Complaints
The responsibility for considering complaints that a council member may have breached the Code of Conduct is moving to B&NES’ Standards Committee. Anyone wanting to complain about the conduct of a member of the Parish Council must submit their complaint to the Standards Committee instead of the Standards Board for England. The address for submitting complaints is “c/o The Monitoring Officer, 3rd Floor, Riverside, Keynsham, BS31 1LA. Further information about the new local assessment system is available on the Standards Board’s website www.standardsboard.gov.uk.
