Following a huge response from local residents, who completed footpath user evidence forms, Bathampton Parish Council has been able to submit requests for Definitive Map Modification Orders in respect of all six un-registered paths in the parish. The requests were presented to the Public Rights of Way team at Bath and North East Somerset Council during February and March 2022. There is now a legal process to follow in ensuring registration of the six footpaths and this is likely to take some time (although the original registration deadline of January 2026 has now been relaxed). This website will be updated to reflect progress in completing the registration process.
