Bathampton Parish Council is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Handy Person to join their team. You will play a vital role in maintaining Bathampton’ s communal areas, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing and trimming some of the village green areas and playground.
- Inspecting the Playground for safety and reporting any concerns.
- Maintaining the allotment and Down lane boundaries, including some hedge and verge maintenance.
- Regularly checking the village spaces for issues and taking appropriate action.
- Monitoring the drains and gutters on Down Lane.
- Maintaining the Parish Council noticeboards, removing graffiti and repairing benches.
- Undertaking general repairs as needed.
- Keeping the parish Council garage and machinery in safe and good working order.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in using and maintaining electric and motorised garden tools.
- Self-motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Organised and proactive approach to work.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
