Annual Residents Meeting of Bathampton

Will be held in the Village Hall on 11th May 2022 at 7.30pm.

This meeting is an opportunity for the residents of the Parish of Bathampton to put forward ideas and proposals to help shape the future of the village and to raise any matters of concern. Come along and take party in the discussions, ask questions and get involved. The National Trust are also keen to hear what the community value about the meadows and thoughts and ideas for its future. After the meeting there will be an opportunity to chat over drinks.

The National Trust has announced plans for a ‘green corridor; through Bathampton Meadows linking Bath to the surrounding Countryside.

Bathampton Parish Council are delighted that Bathampton Meadows will be protected from future development following the transfer of this land from BANES to the National Trust with improvements planned to benefit wildlife including foraging habitat for greater horseshoe bats, wetland habitat for wading birds and increased numbers of wildflowers for pollinators. A programme of community engagement to develop a vision for the future of this cherished local green space will begin in the Spring.
